“Fragments”

“Fragments” is a personal experience of what it feels like to be in the least secure circumstances. I carried my fragments to the street and intermingled with the very insecure shadow that had frequently surrounded me. I offered each fragment to a passerby: I perceived, re-understand, shattered, was astounded, and was then healed.   The fragments were imaged using a scanning electron microscope. Some of them were painfully removed from my body, and while being imaged, they were placed in a high vacuum setting to remove all traces of life. In fact, the SEM method has no optical system for image formation or magnification.  The images were finally printed on metal.
